Location
Milltown House is located on the outskirts of Dingle with a spectacular view looking down past the harbor towards the mouth of Dingle Bay.
The world’s longest defined coastal route, the Wild Atlantic Way passes the boutique premises as it heads west out the Slea Head Drive, located on the most western part of the Dingle Peninsula.
This route takes in The Famine Cottages, the ferries to the Great Blasket Island from Ventry and Dun Quinn, the Louis Mulcahy Pottery, the Gallarus Oratory and the famous landscape of this region.
Walking to town:
It is only 15 minutes from the front door of Milltown House to the pubs, tourist-office, and restaurants by Dingle Marina.
We are located on the ‘Western’, ‘Milltown’, or ‘Slea Head Drive’ side of the town.
You cross Milltown Bridge in the direction of the ‘Slea Head Drive’ and then turn immediately left.
We are the prominent waterfront-residence on Dingle Harbour; our guests enjoy glorious sea-views and an idyllic setting on a quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac road.
Taxis:
A 5-minute journey by taxi will have you in the center of Dingle. Cost is normally around €6 per car per journey. At night a further surcharge of €1 or €2 per person can sometimes be added. Best to check with the driver before embarking on your short journey.
