Awards
During its 40 year tenure as one of the finest guesthouses in Munster, Milltown House was awarded 4 stars by Fáilte Ireland, the Irish Tourist Board. This is their highest guesthouse classification. Then came 5 years of closure before Milltown House was purchased by Patrick & Stephen in 2014. In conjunction with Fáilte Ireland, we are now working on regaining our previous 4-star classification. Fingers crossed, we shall be the proud holders of 4 stars again as we go into the summer of 2015. Our guests consistently rate award-winning Milltown House excellent in every respect. In addition, we proudly hold these commendations: 100 Best Places to Stay in Ireland 2015: We are delighted with the great news that in only our second season in operation* we have been awarded the big-one: An inclusion in the 100 Best Places to stay in Ireland 2015! The ‘100 Best’ awards are compiled each year by the nationally recognized travel writers, John and Sally McKenna. Milltown House now appears in their fabulous new travel app.

At Your Service
In 2015, Milltown House had the honour of being selected to one of the top-rated programmes on Irish National TV, ‘At Your Service’.
Renowned 5-star Hotel gurus – John and Francis Brennan – join forces with our co-owners, Patrick Wade and Stephen McPhilemy, to help return Milltown House to its former glory.
The programme was watched by a huge portion of the Irish viewing public.
It provided some good laughs, some tense moments, and some beautiful sunny footage of a magical summer in Dingle.
*Milltown House has been one of the premier Guesthouses in Ireland since 1969, but the property closed for 5 years in 2009.
In 2014, we bought this old beauty and gave it a rebirth. In our first year of operation, we were humbled to be included in the ‘Top 100 Places to Stay on the Wild Atlantic Way’.
Now this award is a perfect morale-boost as we enthusiastically embrace “Season 5″ on beautiful Dingle Harbour!
