100 Best Places to stay in Ireland 2015

We are delighted with the great news that we were awarded an inclusion in the 100 Best Places to stay in Ireland 2015

This is a very prestigious award and a great reflection on all the members of our passionate team

Milltown House has been one of the premier Guesthouses in Ireland since 1969, but the property closed for 5 years in 2009 before we bought this old beauty in 2014 and gave it a re-birth. In our first year of operation we were humbled to be included in the ‘Top 100 Places to Stay on the Wild Atlantic Way’, and now this award is a perfect morale-boost as we enthusiastically embrace “Season 2” on beautiful Dingle Harbour!

The ‘100 Best’ awards are compiled each year by the nationally recognised travel writers, John and Sally McKenna. Milltown House now appears in their fabulous new travel app which is used by tens of thousands of discerning travellers annually.

Milltown House, Dingle - 100 Best in Ireland

Milltown House, Dingle – 100 Best in Ireland

2015 is poised to be a great year for the new Milltown House, which began with great excitement and public interest caused by our appearance on National TV with  ‘At Your Service’ . We have some refreshing new ideas soon to be enacted which will add to our guests experience immensely.

And now that we have officially arrived in the 100 Best places to Stay in Ireland, we join illustrious company such as our fellow Dingle Guesthouses – world famous Castlewood House and Emlagh House, Ballymaloe House in Cork and Rathmullan House in dear old Donegal. We look forward to welcoming lots more visitors to Milltown House in 2015 (and of course celebrating our new accolade in true Dingle style!)
